Recent Activities at the LYC

Hey Everyone!!

We had an awesome Friendship Day Celebration! Our Graffiti Activity was a huge success and we hope you all enjoyed it. For those of you who missed it, check out some of our photos from the event!

The Renovations are Complete!!

The Renovations on the L.Y.C. are now complete! Come visit and check out the many more things we now have to offer!


We have bought some new toys (PlayStation 3 with Rockband), and continue to improve our older ones (pool, air hockey, TV, computers etc).


We have many great trips planned for this summer, and are looking forward to seeing more of you in our summer hours starting Wednesday Jun 25th, 2008:

Wednesday to Saturday: 1pm - 4pm and 6pm to 10pm.

- - - Join us as we adventure into Sherbrooke to watch Indiana Jones & the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

- - - Not a member? Its Easy and Free to join!!!

June 14th 2008 - noon to 4:30pm - FRIENDSHIP DAY!Saturday

- - - Join us in our outdoor Youth Centre in Centennial Park, and participate in our Graffiti Activity!

Wednesday June 26 2008 - 6pm - Annual General Meeting at the L.Y.C.

- - - Bring your parents, and come and check out what the L.Y.C. has to offer.

LYC expanding!

The LYC has expanded! We now have the space behind the LYC (where Dijitech used to be) and we are in the process of painting it. Our goal is to be done painting and move in by December 22 (the last day before being closed for the Christmas holidays). If painting is for you we would be more than happy for you to come over and help. If not, come see it anyway!

Everyone from the ages 12 to 17 are welcome to join us on Friday July 13th at 6:30 for a waterfight! Meet us at the L.E.S field to take part andbring all your friends =)

• What is it? A FREE show for all your friends to attend! Exceptionnaly, adults 18 and over are also more than welcomed, but we suggest a voluntary contribution on their part.

• Where is it? At the Underground Project, a.k.a. Lennoxville Youth Centre. 168-B Queen, under Cafe Java

• What time does it start at? 7:30 my friend, 7:30!

Performances by 2006 winner of Battle of the Bands Rise of a Phoenix as well as Out Seek, another local band that you need to see now before everybody starts takling about them tomorrow!

Come in great numbers, but come clean!

• Qu'est-ce que c'est? Un show GRATUIT pour toi et toute ta gagne! Les adultes de 18 ans et plus sont également les bienvenus, mais on suggère une contribution volontaire.
