This Thursday, August 14 2008, afternoon, our very own coordinator Andrea Cook will be educating on her specialty, Photography! Bring your camera, and take part in a fun-filled workshop! You will learn some photo basics, and your photos may be chosed to be posted right here on the Blog!!

Thursday July 10 2008 at 7pm - Presentation by the Carrefour Jeuness Estrie on employment, as well a providing resources to you guys the youth!

Friday, July 11 2008 at the LYC at 7:30 pm, OUTSEEK CONCERT

Saturday, July 12 2008 at 10 am at the Esso on Queen Street CAR WASH Fundraiser for the Summer Trip!

Jeudi le 10 Juillet, 2008 a 19h00 Présentation par le Carrefour Jeunesse Estrie, sur l’emploie!

Samedi, le 12 Juillet, 2008, LAVE-AUTO Collectes de Fonds se passe pour levé des fonds pour notre Voyage D’ete, a Esso sure rue Queen a 10h00.

Recent Activities at the LYC

Hey Everyone!!

We had an awesome Friendship Day Celebration! Our Graffiti Activity was a huge success and we hope you all enjoyed it. For those of you who missed it, check out some of our photos from the event!

Notre Journée D’Amitié était un grand Succès! Tout le monde a passé une belle journée a faire la Graffiti. Si vous avez manqué la journée, voici des photos de notre Activité!

The Renovations are Complete!!

The Renovations on the L.Y.C. are now complete! Come visit and check out the many more things we now have to offer!


We have bought some new toys (PlayStation 3 with Rockband), and continue to improve our older ones (pool, air hockey, TV, computers etc).


We have many great trips planned for this summer, and are looking forward to seeing more of you in our summer hours starting Wednesday Jun 25th, 2008:

Wednesday to Saturday: 1pm - 4pm and 6pm to 10pm.

- - - Join us as we adventure into Sherbrooke to watch Indiana Jones & the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

- - - Not a member? Its Easy and Free to join!!!

June 14th 2008 - noon to 4:30pm - FRIENDSHIP DAY!Saturday

- - - Join us in our outdoor Youth Centre in Centennial Park, and participate in our Graffiti Activity!

Wednesday June 26 2008 - 6pm - Annual General Meeting at the L.Y.C.

- - - Bring your parents, and come and check out what the L.Y.C. has to offer.

LYC expanding!

The LYC has expanded! We now have the space behind the LYC (where Dijitech used to be) and we are in the process of painting it. Our goal is to be done painting and move in by December 22 (the last day before being closed for the Christmas holidays). If painting is for you we would be more than happy for you to come over and help. If not, come see it anyway!
