Spring Brings Change – Le Printemps Amène des Changements

Comme vous le saviez peut-être déjà, on a fait un sondage des membres pour savoir si vous aimeriez fermer le centre le samedi et être ouvert mardi à sa place. Le vote a été un gigantesque OUI ! Comme on essaye de prendre en conscience vos opinions on a décidé de faire ce changement-là. Au bout des dernières quelques mois il y a presque personne au Centre le samedi et c’est triste. On veut bien changer notre horaire pour que vous puissiez profiter du centre le plus possible. On comprend que la fin de semaine il est plus évident à trouver des trucs sympas à faire. Donc, dès le 1 mai ce changement prendre effet (cela veut dire que l’on est fermé le 1 mai – par contre on fait un lave-auto pendant l’après-midi, rejoignez-nous !). C’est-à-dire que mardi le 4 mai on est ouvert pour la soirée ! Merci à tous les membres qui ont voté. On essayera cette modification puis si cela ne marche pas, on trouvera une autre solution J

As you may already know, we did a survey of youth members to see if you’d like us to be closed on Saturdays and be open on Tuesdays instead. The vote was an overwhelming YES! As we like to take into account your opinion we’ve decided to make this change. For the past few months there has been barely anyone at the center on Saturday nights, and it’s sad. We want to change our schedule so that you can take full advantage of the center. We understand that it’s easier to find fun things to do on the weekend. So, effective May 1^st the youth center will be closed on Saturdays (that means that we are closed this coming Saturday – but we’ll be doing a car wash in the afternoon so you should come join us!). This means that Tuesday, may 4^th we will be open for the evening. Thank you to all of the members who voted. We will give this change a try and if it doesn’t work, we’ll find another solution J
